Activity and supervision

The activity carried on is the development and distribution of software. It is not a regulated profession and is not subject to authorisation or to the supervision of a professional body. There is no VAT identification number distinct from the NIP shown above; where value added tax applies to a sale, it is accounted for by Google as the seller of record in the territories where Google acts in that capacity.

This notice is published in accordance with the Polish Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means (ustawa o swiadczeniu uslug droga elektroniczna) and Article 5 of Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce.

Distribution of the application

The Followscript Android application is distributed through Google Play, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, for users in the European Economic Area, and by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States, elsewhere.

The Followscript application is currently offered on Google Play in the European Union only, and within it not in Germany or France. This website, including the browser version of the prompter at followscript.com/app, is available worldwide and needs no account.

Hosting

The followscript.com website, the browser version of the prompter, and the database holding synchronised scripts for people who have chosen an account are all hosted within the European Union. The current hosting provider and its address are given on request at support@followscript.com; they are disclosed on request rather than published, so that this notice does not fall out of date the moment infrastructure changes.

Deleting an account

An account, and everything held for it, can be deleted from inside the app, from the browser version, or at followscript.com/account-deletion. No request to us is needed, and none is refused.

Intellectual property

The Followscript name, the application, its interface, its icons, its screenshots and the text of the website are protected by copyright and belong to Ilya Yarshou, except where a third-party component is used under its own licence. Reproducing them, other than for private use or for quotation in reporting and commentary, requires our written permission.

Video and audio you record with Followscript are yours. We claim nothing in them; see the Terms of Use.

Reporting unlawful content or an infringement

If you believe something published by us infringes your rights or is unlawful, write to support@followscript.com, identifying the material, its location, the right you rely on, and how to reach you. We act on well-founded notices promptly.
